Resource Development Group Consolidates Business Portfolio

Resource Development Group (RDG) has restructured its business operations into two independent divisions, Consulting and Contracting following the acquisition of Central Systems Pty Ltd (Centrals) last year.

The Consulting division consolidates wholly owned subsidiaries Ecologia Environment Pty Ltd, Engenium Pty Ltd (Engenium) and Intellect Systems Pty Ltd into one business, which will operate under the Engenium brand. Under this single brand, Engenium will provide environmental, engineering and technology consultancy services to the resource, energy and infrastructure sectors.

The Contracting division consolidates the Centrals and Pacer Corporation Pty Ltd businesses and will operate under the Centrals brand. Centrals will continue to provide construction, maintenance and remedial services to the resource, energy, defence and infrastructure sectors.

“The consolidation of these businesses marks a major milestone for RDG. With so many companies under the RDG umbrella it made sense to consolidate them into two divisions in order to streamline our service offering to our clients,” said Jeff Brill, Managing Director of Resource Development Group. “Our clients will still deal with the same personnel they always have, including the same managers and decision makers. So, in essence, their experience with our business will not change.”

In addition to the consolidation of these businesses, Engenium has appointed Mr Brian De Swardt as Managing Director. Brian will replace Mr Wayne Peel, who has been the Managing Director of Engenium for five years and is leaving to pursue other endeavours..
